ARRINGTON SCHELIN & HERRELL, PC concentrates its practice in representing injured and disabled individuals in all types of personal injury, social security disability, and workers' compensation claims. The firm serves Upper East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia with offices in Bristol, Lebanon, Norton, and Claypool Hill, Virginia. In Tennessee the firm has offices in Kingsport and Johnson City. The firm has practiced in Southwest Virginia since 1986 and in the Tri-Cities area since August, 1989.
Charles E. "Chuck" SchelinThe firm originated with Charles E. "Chuck" Schelin (1940 - 1989) and the firm of Griffith and Bondurant. Chuck died in a private airplane crash in Richmond, Virginia on June 9, 1989. He was the pilot and only passenger. From 1975 to 1986, the predecessor firm of Browning, Morefield, Schelin & Arrington was engaged in the general practice of law with offices in Abingdon, Lebanon, and Grundy. In 1986, the present firm limited its practice to representing the injured and disabled individual.
At present, the firm consists of four partners - James E. Arrington, Jr., Gregory R. Herrell, Michael R. Munsey and D. Edward Wise, Jr. Our administrator is Brenda W. Kiser. There are 20 support staff members.
