D. EDWARD WISE, JR.
Ed became a partner in January 2001 and is the manager of the Virginia Workers’ Compensation practice. He became associated with Arrington Schelin & Herrell in 1993 following his graduation from Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. Prior to his graduation from law school, Ed worked with the firm for two years as a law clerk. He grew up in Blountville, Tennessee and received his Bachelor of Science degree from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. Ed is licensed to practice law in Virginia and Tennessee.
Ed is responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm's Virginia workers’ compensation caseload. He sees clients on a daily basis, attends hearings and develops cases. His staff consists of paralegals and clerical support staff. Ed is an active member of the Workplace Injury Law and Advocacy Group and has served as the Co-Chairman of the Southwest Virginia Workers’ Compensation Bar Association since 2003.
