BRENDA WOODS KISER
Brenda (known to staff and friends as "B.K.") joined the firm in 1989 as the office administrator. She worked as a paralegal with the predecessor firm of Browning, Morefield, Schelin & Arrington for 5 years. Prior to joining Browning, et al, she served as Administrator for Client Centered Legal Services of Southwest Virginia and worked in the legal department at the United Mine Workers' District 28 Office in Castlewood, Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Science degree and Medical Secretarial Science Certificate from The University of Virginia at Wise.
Brenda is responsible for the day to day management of the firm and supervises the support staff. She has served as Secretary, President-elect and as President of the Western Virginia Chapter Association of Legal Administrators based in Roanoke, Virginia. She is a member of the National Association of Legal Administrators, the American Management Association, and completed the Bristol Leadership Tomorrow program in May, 1998.
